Fabulous experience all around. We had no reservations. Brigitte, the hostess, was so accommodating. She checked with the kitchen and gladly seated us with a great view of Lake Ontario. The food and service were as great as the view. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the RS for one night. The room was on the small side but clean and quaint. It does smell like moth balls. The location is the best part with Adirondack chairs to sit in by the water to enjoy the sunset. We also ate dinner here. They have a nice selection of dishes. It is a little pricey but I would say worth it. Service was excellent and the view from the deck can't be beat. We also really enjoyed the live music. Expect your dining experience to be at least 2 hours. It takes a while to get a table, drink and meal. But if you aren't in a hurry, definitely go here for dinner and sit and relax.

We enjoyed flavorful, hand crafted culinary creations plus live music & picturesque lake side dining. Seriously can’t say more positive words other than it’s definitely worth the trip! Enjoy!! I didn’t stay in their little lakeside cabin. Just re visited this year and it was even better!

There is no restaurant on Lake Ontario like it. It is an Epicurean's dream! I have been there four times this season and the food, drinks, service and sunsets are simply amazing. This slice of heaven envelops you upon entering. Bridgette, the manager, greats you with a world class smile, friendly manner and magnetic personality. The complimentary warm homemade buns and butter served while your food is being prepared are delish! They have all-you-can-eat crab legs on Thursday nights. The Lake Ontario sunsets are rated in the Top 10 Sunsets in the World in Condé Nast Travel Magazine. This restaurant will be awarded a three-star Michelin Rating someday!

Remote and simple room. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck looking at the water. Restaurant at a great location on the water and service was excellent. Be prepared to relax and take the time to wait for your food. Room, though clean had a strong smell we ended up getting used too. The beach on the other hand is not a beach to sit at unless you can get used to the strong smell of dead fish coming from the uncared for beach next to the property.
